The children's author David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Acclaimed young adult author and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, the company has said.
A representative for the company said: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an investigation into claims about conduct deemed unsuitable towards female individuals.
The publisher has not elaborated on the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss confidential company decisions."

Walliams stands as a most successful children's authors, having sold in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.

To date, he has released more than 40 books altogether, including a Christmas book titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins last autumn.

He first rose to fame on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE back in 2017 honoring his contributions to charity and the arts.
This move occurs subsequent to the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO this past October.
